Sadly, we must say goodbye to our current President, Bobbie Schofield, as she prepares to move out of state. We can't say thank you enough to Bobbie who stepped in when our last president stepped down to move out of state. We're seeing a pattern here. While we'll miss Bobbie's leadership and can-do attitude, we wish her well and look forward to welcoming our new president, Chander Sharma.
A word from our outgoing president
As I look back over this past year serving as your president I am so grateful for the support I have received from the Nashville Board, and also from our chapter members, volunteers and sponsors. The experience has been challenging for me because I am more comfortable behind the scenes than out in front but you all made me feel at ease.
Much has changed for me since I took over the role last year and I have had to move out of state due to my husband’s job. It is with sadness that I must resign my position but I am thrilled to announce that the board has been able to recruit an excellent replacement.
Please join me in welcoming Chander Sharma as the new President to complete the remaining time left on my term. Many of you already know Chander and he comes to the board with prior IIBA Board experience. I will continue to support Chander and the Nashville Board in a remote capacity as long as they need me.
Thank you all for the opportunity to serve the chapter and I wish the board and the chapter continued success.
